Nice is a fairly normal, fairly clean, large, waterfront town on the Mediterranean coast.
Nice has an attractive harbor below Vieux Nice, the old town.
Vieux Nice, itself, can be interesting to visit, especially at market time.
Like most big cities, traffic can be a bear... add to that... French drivers.
